Bio

The youngest of 27 cousins on my father’s side, I grew up in a home where the walls were held up by Mexican Machismo and being a girl meant that my highest aspiration should be becoming a woman who bears children. Although I’ve since shed those constructs of what gender means, I never lost my awe of what Birthing Bodies are capable of as we nurture and bare tiny humans. It is my honor and privilege to serve birthing people through their labors and deliveries, as well as my mission to do so in any way that makes them feel comfortable and safe. When I am not doula-ing, I enjoy painting, exploring the Tacoma food scene, trail running, and watching movies with my family.
