Bio

I am committed to serving families from diverse backgrounds and beliefs. I honor and support whatever birth experience YOU have chosen, whether it be at a hospital or home, medicated or not. I will guide you with my knowledge, an open mind, an open heart, and an understanding that the path to parenthood is sometimes filled with fear, excitement, and wonder. 

My passion for bringing choice and knowledge back to the laboring person is the reason I began birth work in 2021. I truly believe that the age-old cliché of "knowledge is power" is the absolute truth. My mother gave birth to four children in the U.S. without speaking any English. The fear she felt of not having a choice or being informed is what drives me to serve families who want to take a stand, have a voice, and make a choice. I want to turn that fear into power! I am passionate about helping Spanish speaking families find their voice during this life changing event.

When I'm not at a birth, I enjoy getting creative in the kitchen, eating (a little too much), and cleaning. I'm also a certified Spinning® Instructor and love a good sweat! I'm a total word nerd and love bingeing on true crime podcasts and T.V. shows.
