Penny has been married to the love of her life, Dennis, for over 50 years. Together they have 4 grown children, two bonus daughters & 9 incredible grandchildren. Penny's family also includes a 110 pound Golden Retriever, SunnyDay & 3 cats. Penny likes Rebecca Dekker's quote, " I Recognize My White Privilege, I Work to be an Ally & Raise Awareness". Supporting & caring for Birthing Families has been a big part of Penny's life for many years. Now she is thrilled to be a Co-Founder with Geneva Montano, of Colorado Community Doulas. Colorado Community Doulas is a NonProfit & has given over $30,000 in scholarships, to help their Doulas to become DONA Certified Doulas.
