We have heard concerns from many DONA doulas and members that some healthcare facilities are requiring all doulas to adhere to DONA International’s Standards of Practice & Code of Ethics (SOP/COE). To address this issue, the DONA Board of Directors has developed the following clarifying statement surrounding this common practice.
